Joseph Cook Principal

At FIRM, Joe focuses on customer service, originating new business and supporting regional sales staff. Before starting FIRM, Joe served as division President for a national accounts receivable company, where he led multiple service lines of business that included collection services, Medicaid eligibility services and accounts receivable management for national healthcare providers.

Joe was founder and CEO of Twin Medical Transaction Services, which provided Medicaid eligibility services to health care providers around the country. Twin was the largest privately held eligibility company west of the Rockies when it was acquired by national investment firm MedAssist Holding Inc. in 2006. After the deal, Joe stayed on as Twin’s President for an additional four years. Overall, he has more than 25 years’ experience providing A/R management to national health care providers.

Joe graduated from University of Maryland, where he majored in economics. He is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association and has received the HFMA Fullmer Bronze Award. Joe also holds a certified collection agency Manager license from the state of Nevada.
